Hunting and Collecting
Lobstering, Scalloping, Spearfishing
Many divers at some point, especially here in New England, try their hand at hunting underwater, whether it be looking for scallops, hunting Tautog, or wrestling lobsters out of holes. If you have ever tried, you have learned how hard it really is to catch any of these. Well the staff at East Coast has many years of experience catching all kinds of goodies and we want to share our secrets of success with you. This course will cover hunting and gathering techniques as well as cover local laws and regulations. These can be completed as a shore dive or boat dive depending on the student requirements and weather conditions. Charter fees are not included. Come in and sign up today.
This course includes:
- one session in the classroom with a certified instructor
- 2 open water dives with a certified instructor (dives can satisfy requirements of more than one specialty i.e. a deep dive on a wreck can be both a deep and wreck dive)
