Project Description

We are Boston's premier diving education center for Advanced Navigation Classes and other scuba lessons in Massachusetts and New England!

About The Course:

The vast majority of open water divers don’t trust their own ability to navigate underwater. This translates into many divers who don’t feel comfortable diving without a guide or instructor in the water with them.

When there are fewer divers in an area more sea life will come out and you will be able to get the most out of your dives. All we have to show you is how to find the boat or shore. There are many Advanced Navigation techniques we use to help you be able to navigate in any condition comfortably. These can be completed as a shore dive or boat dive depending on the student requirements and weather conditions. Sign up today!

This course only runs from May - October.
For more information about the course, signup process and paperwork please click around the tabs. Remember, if you get stumped or if you have questions that aren't answered by the website you can always call (617) 277-2216 or shoot us an email at and we'll do our best to help!

Before Class

Note- All the paperwork you'll need, along with a what to do before class checklist is located in the corresponding tab

Before your course there is a bit of paperwork you'll have to fill out. The most important piece is the medical, which can be printed out and brought to your first classroom session.

Risk Awareness Videos

The most important form to fill out ahead of time is the medical.  Go through the medical now and check to see if you need to answer "YES" to any of the questions. If so no big deal - you'll just need to get a doctors' sign-off before we can let you in the pool. The doctors' note is in the same file as the medical - Just scroll down to the next page. Remember IF you answer "YES" to anything in the medical it is COMPULSORY to get a doctors' note BEFORE getting in the pool.

The Navigation course is typically done over one full day, with classroom starting at 8 am and then heading up to the ocean once the class is finished. This course is often done in conjunction with search and recovery. To do both you'll have to sign up on the search and recovery page! To schedule, a session Give the shop a call, email or stop by in person!
