About The Course:

Overview

It isn’t common for divers to deal with any sort of injury while diving though it is possible. It’s important for all divers have the ability to explain differences between these injuries to help get the injured diver to the proper first aid and treatment as soon as possible. There are many examples of physiological changes that happen to the human body during a dive. During this section they are all covered.

Specialized for diving emergencies East Coast Divers First Aid / Physiology, O2 Administration, AED & CPR course is something every diver should take. Three of the most important aspects of a successful in water rescue, especially for a scuba diver, are the ability to provide proper first aid, basic life support and oxygen administration. Our course combines these three important subjects and teaches them to you with the in water emergency in mind. Our diver and aquatic focused program was designed by scuba groups to integrate into diver training programs seamlessly. Often a first aid course is merely general application of techniques. Our first aid course focuses in on the world of aquatic emergencies to give you the most specialized training available in the world of diving. We give real examples of real situations and explain to you how the environment will change your behavior as the person providing support.

The East Coast Divers First Aid Course also qualifies for the “science of diving – Physiology” workshop
