Driving: Our Brookline facility is readily available and convenient by car, bus, or the T. East Coast Divers is conveniently located on the west bound side of Rt. 9 (Boylston st. Brookline), just a few blocks before Walnut St. in Brookline.
Parking is typically available at all times.There is 2 hour parking on most streets in Brookline and on all the streets around the store.
Public Transportation: It is quite easy to get to our store on the T. From inside the city, simply get on the Green line (D) train outbound and get off at the Brookline Hills stop. Walk up the hill and take a right to Walk to Rt. 9. Then make a left on Rt. 9 (Boylston St).
Driving: All of our pool sessions take place at this facility unless otherwise noted. The pool is located on Babcock street in Boston on the Boston University Campus. It is just off Commonwealth Ave. The pool is located in the basement of the Walter Brown Arena. This is also the same site of Nickerson Field and the Case Gymnasium.
Parking is available on street all around the pool. During the majority of our pool times the parking meters are not running though it’s a good idea to be prepared. Please contact the shop if you have questions about the pool or parking.
Driving: The Cape Ann Rest Stop is located in Beverly is the meet location for most of our New England Shore dives. From the city, follow 93 or route 1 to 95 north. Follow 95 north to route 128 north (be sure to stay to the left of the 95 / 128 split). The road will become 2 lanes and the exit numbers will start to decend. The actual rest stop is just past exit 19 on route 128. Please DO NOT TAKE exit 19 but continue just past it. You will pass underneath a bridge and the Cape Ann rest stop is on your right hand side. We meet in the parking lot that is just to the right as you enter.
If you join us for a shore dive you will want to bring the following:

Tip money for your hard working dive leader/slave
Snacks & drinks
Thermos of hot water (For colder dives)
All necessary dive equipment (not provided at site)
Lobster License & appropriate sizing gauge (If lobstering – We check)
Driving: The Cape Ann Marina is located in Beverly is the meet location for most of our Cape Ann boat dives. From the city, follow 93 or route 1 to 95 north. Follow 95 north to route 128 north (be sure to stay to the left of the 95 / 128 split). The road will become 2 lanes and the exit numbers will start to decend. Take the RT-133 exit, EXIT 14, toward W. Gloucester/Gloucester harbor. Turn slight right onto Essex Ave/MA-133 for 2.5 miles. Cape Ann Marina is on the left. Park out front of the Gull restaurant. To the right of the boat dealership is a down ramp, at the base of the down ramp directly ahead is slip J1 for Down Under and J5 Cape Ann Charters.
Driving: From East Coast Divers make your way into the city towards 1A North (Head to East Boston, the Airport). Take the Airport Exit. Merge into the Callahan tunnel.Once in East Boston… Right onto Porter St, left onto Chelsea St, right onto Porter St, right onto Orleans St, left onto Marginal St.
Boston Scuba is at the end in the marina ( STOP AT THE GATE!!!!!!)
Use GPS if possible. By far easiest way.
Driving: All of our Boat dives in Rhode Island are scheduled on Cape Ann Charters. From East Coast Divers take 95 South towards Providence RI. continue on RI-4 S/Col Rodman Hwy, follow signs for N Kingstown. Continue onto U.S. 1 S/Tower Hill Rd. Continue to follow U.S. 1 S. Sharp left onto U.S. 1 N/US-1 Scenic N (signs for Jerusalam/Snug Harbor). Turn right onto Succotash Rd. Turn left onto Gooseberry Rd. Turn left onto Sherman Rd, destination will be the first right. The Canned Air is straight down the front dock on the right.
Hathaway Pond is the main training site we use for easy dives or when the ocean is withstanding poor weather and adverse conditions. The pond has parking but can be as much as $15 (Cash Only) on weekends during the season from Memorial Day through Labor Day. There are typically 2 access points. a small cove on the left and the main beach on the right. East Coast Divers typically uses the small cove though it is best to confirm with the dive leader.
Driving: From points North head South on 93 to Rt 3. Merge left onto Rt. 3 south. Follow Rt. 3 to Rt. 6 E. From Rt. 6 E take exit 6 onto S/Iyannough Rd. From S/Iyannough Rd. Take a left onto Phinney’s Lane. The pond is Marked with a sign, less than a mile down on the left.
Morton Pond (actually Little Pond) is an alternate training site we use for easy dives or when the ocean is withstanding poor weather and adverse conditions. The pond is closer to Boston than Hathaway Pond and has parking but it can be as much as $25/day (Cash Only) on weekends during the season from Memorial Day through Labor Day. There is a main cove with parking and picnic tables as you first enter. There are other coves along the pond that the dive leader may plan on using so it’s best to confirm with them.
Driving: From points North head South on 93 to Rt 3. Merge left onto Rt. 3 south. From Rt. 3 S take exit 6b onto US44 E/Samoset st. Plymouth. From Samoset st. turn left onto Pilgrim Hill rd. At the end of Pilgrim Hill rd. turn left onto Summer st. Approx. 200 yards down the road turn right onto Morton Pond Park rd. The cove is at the end of the road.
