Project Description

We are Boston’s premiere diving education center for Scuba Refresher Classes (scuba skills update) and other scuba lessons in Massachusetts and New England!

About The Course:

Overview

Most dive destinations will require a refresher course be done for any diver who hasn’t been on scuba for a year or more. We offer a refresher program so you can get the bugs worked out before your vacation. This program will help any certified diver get their confidence back by reviewing skills taught in basic open water classes as well as refining buoyancy control. Anything in particular you might want to work on or think needs practice will be addressed as well. You will work directly with an instructor who will make sure you are completely comfortable in the water. All gear can be provided for no additional charge.

The refresher course consists of one Pool session with an instructor and one open play pool session. They can be scheduled together or separately depending on you schedule. We have pool times available Wednesday nights from 7:45-9:30 and Sunday nights from 5:45-7:30 or 7:45-9:30.

Before Class

Note- All the paper work you’ll need, along with a what to do before class checklist is located in the corresponding tab

Before your refresher there is a bit of paperwork you’ll have to fill out. The most important piece is the medical, which can be printed out and brought to the pool at the time of the refresher.

What to do before class

Risk Awareness Videos

There are a couple of forms that can be done ahead of time. Most important is the medical. Go through the medical now and check to see if you need to answer “YES” to any of the questions. If so no big deal – you’ll just need to get a doctors sign off before we can let you in the pool. The doctors note is in the same file as the medical – Just scroll down to the next page. Remember IF you answer “YES” to anything in the medical it is COMPULSORY to get a doctors note BEFORE getting in the pool.

Medical

The Pre Class form was created in order to give our students a better understanding of the sign up process and paperwork involved. Once you have paid you can complete and submit this online form, this way we will all be on the same page.
