Who I Am

Aleksey first caught the diving bug in 2006 while in St. Thomas. A few months after returning from vacation he got himself certified in the cold waters of Ft. Devens. A few years later he began his professional diving career in as a dive master and worked his way up to an instructor. He started teaching at East Coast Divers in 2012 and his favorite class to teach is the Discover Scuba program,

“Watching the joy people express after their first underwater experience is just incredible to me”

Aleksey has dove all over the world. The Hawaiian Islands and the Bay Islands of Honduras are just a couple of examples. He loves diving New England including winter Ice Diving in Lake Winnipesaukee. With over 300 dives some of his favorite diving includes night, cave, and scallop diving. He has a special affinity for wreck diving and has enjoyed exploring the sunken wrecks all along our coast line. He is currently working on his TDI Technical Instructor under the expert guidance of managing partner Alex Dulavitz.
