Intern to Dive Pro Program

East Coast Divers is looking for part time interns who want to learn the trades of the scuba diving world while also getting a chance to take scuba diving classes. Interns can participate as little as a few hours a week to as much as a few days a week. The more involved you become in the internship program the greater benefits you will receive.

This is a NON-PAID internship. Interns will train in a dive center environment in exchange for courses, rental gear & diving opportunities.

Requirements:

Must be entry level open water certified.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Willing to commit 5 – 10 hours a week over a 6 month period. Terms are negotiable.
Interns will:

Gain access to entry level up through pro level courses.
Receive deep discounts on dive equipment based on the amount of time you invest.
Capability to start as an open water diver and become a dive pro in 12 months.
Qualify for high school or college credit.*
Learn newfound skills including: tank filling, minor gear repairs,
using a Point of Sales program, customer service skills and sales floor techniques.
Get free use of all rental gear (excluding mask, fins and snorkel which they must own).
Interns will be able to participate in any class already running
as long as they are qualified and have logged enough hours for the course.
*The student is responsible for setting up credit with their current school.

Interns will:

Work one on one with Technical Instructors
Learn the ins and outs of SCUBA repairs both in the workshop and for the field
Ability to excel through Technical courses and become a technical instructor
Qualify for high school or college credit.*
Learn newfound skills and work with the one of the top dive shops in the world
Get free use of all rental gear (excluding mask, fins and snorkel which they must own).
Interns will be able to participate in any class already running
as long as they are qualified and have logged enough hours for the course.
*The student is responsible for setting up credit with their current school.

Requirements:

Must be entry level open water certified or Freediving level 1 certified
Must be  at least 18 years of age.
Attend freediving training twice weeklyWilling to commit 5 – 10 hours a week over a 6 month period. Terms are negotiable.
Interns will:

Gain access to entry level up through pro level courses.
Train one on one in advanced marketing and sales techniques
Capability to start as an open water diver and become a dive pro in 12 months.

Work on exciting Marketing Projects

Learn newfound skills including: tank filling, minor gear repairs, customer service skills and sales floor techniques.
Get free use of all rental gear (excluding mask, fins and snorkel which they must own).
Interns will be able to participate in any class already running.

Requirements:

Must be entry level open water certified or Freediving level 1 certified
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Be able to work remotely
Work at least 1 day in ECD shop
Willing to commit 5 – 10 hours a week over a 6 month period.
Advanced excel and coding background preferred
Interns will:

Gain access to entry level up through pro level courses.
Help to create new pages and keep the website updated
Plan out and track customer interaction with online store
Learn newfound skills including: tank filling, minor gear repairs,in depth WordPress knowledge, valuable analytics knowledge
Get free use of all rental gear (excluding mask, fins and snorkel which they must own).
Interns will be able to participate in any class already running
as long as they are qualified and have logged enough hours for the course.
