Come Explore the World With Us

Why travel with ECD?

Our team has the diving and travel experience to choose the best locations for every diving level and every type of traveler. We offer domestic long weekend trips to explore the waters closer to home, as well as a variety of international trips. We choose high quality dive shops and resorts to ensure our customers have the best experience possible.
Each trip has at least one trip leader to coordinate all the details before and during your trip, so you’re free to relax and enjoy your vacation. Trip leaders are liasons with the resort and dive shop and coordinate group activities, which travelers are invited to join in, or may choose to relax with a mojito on the beach instead… as much or as little as you want on our trips, it’s your vacation!
If we don’t have to pay the credit card processing fees, you don’t either! If you pay your trip balance in cash or with a check, the trip costs you 5% less. Trip deposits can be made with a credit card online and as long as the rest of the balance is paid by cash/check you can still take advantage of our cash discount.
Spots on trips can be reserved either by signing up online, calling the shop, or signing up in person at the shop. We are not able to sign anyone up for a trip without payment of the full deposit amount.

About Truk Lagoon

November 6-13th 2021

Truk is renowned for its incredible history with over 60 wrecks, from supply ships to planes and a submarine, all contained within a coral reef lagoon. It is easy to understand why divers absolutely cherish the diving in Truk. In world war 2, the Japanese fleet used Truk (also known as Chuuk) as one of their main staging points for attacks on the allied forces. In 1944 the American led “Operation Hailstone” surprised the fleet resulting in the wealth of dive sites available to divers to this day.. There is also the opportunity to explore engine rooms and holds. Surrounded by a coral reef, there are many excellent coral pinnacles and deep channels with schooling pelagics too!
