The Bass is a barracuda class navy sub resting at 160ft. She was sunk on March 12, 1945 as a test for the mark 24 Fido acoustic homing torpedo. Depending on the tide, this dive can be an advanced tech dive where tri-mix is required (bottom time rarely exceeding 20min). At low tide, this wreck rests at 130 and is a great dive for divers who have completed our advanced nitrox and decompression course.
