East Coast Divers is the hub of all of our training, events, activities, service, and support. All in-person classroom sessions are facilitated here as well as many of our events held throughout the prime diving season in the spring, summer, and fall.
The East Coast Divers facility houses an array of gear for dive, swim, and aquatics activities. The gear we sell at the shop is what we personally use and it is supported and serviced in-house. Our facility also features a large rental department featuring over 50 sets of modern, top of the line dive gear that is utilized for local diver rentals, vacation packages, Rent to Own, and to support ECD training programs. Our rental department also includes a full line of premiere Santi drysuits to ensure comfort extend your New England diving season. We service all of the equipment that we sell in-house and feature a state-of-the-art fill station supplying breathing gases from air and Nitrox to O2 and Trimix fills. We are an elite technical, rebreather, freediving, and professional training center and provide entry-level divers with the highest-quality Open Water Diver program to build a solid foundation in the sport. While we are primarily an SSI Freediving, XR, and Sport diving professional development center we are also trainers for PADI, SDI, TDI, PFI, NAUI, and DAN.
Since 2018 we also feature an advanced maintenance area where you can rinse and dry gear in our side yard event space. This area is complete with an outdoor kitchen, shower, and tables that are great for post-dive debriefing and lounging. Overhead sail canopies protect us from the sun while the deck and patios keep gear clean and allow dirt and sand to rinse freely.
On-street parking in Brookline can be a challenge but there is plenty of it around the store. All on street parking in Brookline is limited to 2-hours and available everywhere unless otherwise posted. All of the streets around the shop have 2-hour parking including Rt. 9 (Boylston St). If you plan to be at the store for more than 2-hours we recommend moving your car as the 2-hour limit approaches. When moving your car, you must move to another street. You may get ticketed if you just pull further down the road. In some situation, if you are having trouble finding parking we may have staff or facility vehicles near the shop that can be shuffled.
