Cozumel is one of the premiere scuba destinations in the western hemisphere. With 25+ dive sites accessible by boat, there is a huge variety of types of sites, from dramatic walls to shallow flat reefs full of fish. There's something for everyone!! Most diving in Cozumel is drift diving, where you are dropped off by the boat at the beginning of the dive, are carried along the reef by the current, and picked up at the end of your dive by the boat. Typical marine life sightings include eagle rays, sea horses, pipe fish, nurse sharks, 3 different kinds of turtles and a huge variety of reef fish. The group will do 5 mornings of 2 tank dives, and one night dive with Dive House. Tanks for shore dives are available at the resort for additional cost.
Dive House has five locations on the island, and is a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort. We offer two tank boat dive trips twice daily. Dive sites are decided upon by the divers on the boat and usually include one “wall” dive and one reef dive.
We own and operate five boats all fully equipped with VHF radios, depth sounders, DAN oxygen units, first aid kits and life vests. The four larger boats, a 46′ Sea Ray, a 42′ Sea Ray, a 35′ Bruno Stillman and a 30′ Island Hopper, are also equipped with camera racks, heads, freshwater showers and water level dive platforms with ladders. Boat capacities vary and can accommodate between 8 – 26 divers, ideal for individuals as well as groups.
