Who I Am

Kim came to ECD in 2010 as an already experienced diver intent on becoming a dive professional. After achieving her divemaster and dive control specialist ratings and leading shore dives and teaching in the pool for a few years, Kim moved to Cozumel, Mexico for a stint working in the dive industry there. Kim returned to Boston in 2016 as an instructor and has since become one of our most active instructors. With a degree in education and many years experience teaching children, it is no surprise that Kim is the primary instructor for our Scuba Rangers program and kids specialties. Even with a very active teaching schedule,  Kim is always sure to leave time for fun diving, and in her off time can be found scalloping, taking photos of marine life, searching local dive sites for the lumpfish sighting that has eluded her for years, or baking treats to bring to her dive buddies.

Kim also is the director of all of our diving both local and abroad. She plans and coordinates all of our group travel as well as our local charters. Kim’s attention to detail and extreme organization has ensured that all of our group travel has operated without a hitch. Kim also operates as one of our lead instructors. Her understanding of diver training helps us mold each new generation of dive professionals.
