The Scuba Force Black Devil line of regulators are German-designed hardware building upon the tried and tested form factor popularized by manufacturers such as Apeks, Dive Rite, and Hollis.

All Black Devil models feature an overbalanced sealed diaphragm first stages. The Intermediate pressure can be fine-tuned using manually adjustable spring pressure accessible without opening the balancing chamber. The balanced second stages feature diver adjustment knobs that can be adjusted to increase or decrease gas flow at depth as well as venturi levers for reducing potential free-flows on the surface.

The combination results in excellent work or breathing at depth and the ability to tune down the regs for reliable winter performance here in New England.

 

 

East Coast Divers has selected the Black Devil SM (Side Mount) as the workhorse regulator in their tech department. The system is a rugged regulator set with great breathability and a simple design that can be serviced the world over. While these regulators are preferred by deep technical divers due to their reliability, breathability at depth, ease of service, and value; the Black Devil is versatile and inexpensive, making it an excellent choice for new divers and dive professionals alike.

Black Devil SM Regs on Doubles Set

1st Stage Specifications (all models):

  • Made of corrosion-resistant brass, nickel-plated, and chrome plated.
  • The integrated cold water protection kit keeps the 1st stage clean and dry.
  • Medium pressure 9.5 – 10.2 bar (135-145 PSI).
  • Din 300 bar.
  • 2 High-pressure ports (7/16″-20 UNF)
