Thenar Dryglove System

< Back to ECD Gear

Searching for a dry glove system that performs when you need it? The Scuba Force Thenar Dry Glove System is the solution preferred by the East Coast Divers team. The Thenar system marries an ergonomic design, high-quality materials, and a flexible design in an affordable package.

“It’s amazing how hard it is to find a dry glove system that actually keeps my hands dry. After trying nearly a dozen different dry glove systems it felt like I had been through every possible way to not make dry gloves… till I found the Scuba Forces Thenar Dry Glove System. Not only are they consistently dry, but they also excel in nearly every way beyond their competition. They are simple to maintain, robust, shaped to allow your hands to still fit in smaller places, and their agnostic application gives you plenty of options to attach to different suits and seal systems. Oh and they are less expensive than the better competition out there too.” –Alex Dulavitz

Thoughtful Ergonomics

The Thenar system is designed to maximize the diameter of the oval while minimizing its circumference. The shape enables you to comfortably fit your hand through the ring without creating unnecessary bulk. These rings also come in two sizes.

Durable Materials

The hard-anodized aluminum construction means your ring system is built to last. Bulky o-rings are sandwiched between suit-side and glove-side aluminum sealing surfaces. You won’t have to worry about plastic parts wearing out or warping over time.

Flexible Design

One major advantage of Thenar rings is the ease of installation. The suit-side of the system is installed in the wrist seal. You can easily swap the rings between different seals – or even from suit-to-suit. The glove system is compatible with the durable Scuba Force Dry Gloves as well as 3rd party gloves from the likes of Showa and other manufacturers. You can order additional glove-side ring systems for just over half the price of a complete ring system so it’s easy and affordable to have spare gloves or task-specific gloves configured and ready to go.
