Learn to safely plan and complete dives using enriched air nitrox mixtures up to 40% oxygen. This entirely classroom-based course is one of the most useful certifications a diver can earn — giving you longer no-decompression limits and shorter surface intervals. The program includes an instructor-led Zoom session, a hands-on tank analysis workshop at East Coast Divers, and online eLearning materials you’ll complete prior to class through either SSI or PADI. Students must complete all three portions of the course to receive certification. Both agencies are accepted worldwide and your course with ECD is the same for either agency.

eLearning Materials (Required)
Choose your training agency and complete the corresponding online course:

  • SSI eLearning: $125 (paid to East Coast Divers at the time of booking)

  • PADI eLearning: $227 (purchased directly from PADI)  *Students choosing the PADI option must affiliate their elearning with East Coast Divers or an additional fee of  $125 will be due.

Both options include a digital certification card upon completion.

Before Class

Before attending your class you will need to complete some paperwork. The forms will be emailed to you for your review and can be completed by Eversign prior to your class.

This class also has a helpful online training component hosted by SSI. Please complete your online training prior to your classroom session. If you have not already registered with SSI, look for an email from divessi.com. You can access online training materials, certification cards, and more at my.divessi.com or the MySSI app on your iPhone or Android.

Private courses are set up slightly differently than regular Nitrox Courses. The beginning process is the same – you’ll still be required to fill out the same paperwork but you won’t be tethered to our schedule. Instead, you can find out whenever works best for you and let us know so we can get the session scheduled.

Private Scheduling is done through our training department at Training@ecdivers.com.  Please contact us for pricing and sign-up information.

No equipment necessary as this class is strictly classroom. As always you can bring a pen and pencil or a snack!
