Why learn perfect buoyancy?

Buoyancy instruction during many diver certification programs is often taught as an individual skill, like regulator recoveries or mask clears are. At East Coast Divers, we believe buoyancy control is the foundation for comfortable and safe diving which is why all skill work in our programs is taught while students maintain neutral buoyancy. This level of training helps our students excel at diving as soon as they hit the open water and prepares them to handle challenging situations and advanced training. The ECD Perfect Buoyancy program will help you improve your diving comfort no matter what your level of experience. It is perfect for those who feel like they are just working too hard underwater or those who feel like their weight system is just too heavy but mastering buoyancy as an ability is paramount for divers interested in wreck or cave diving, underwater photography or videography, technical diving.

After your classroom and open water sessions, you’ll be surprised how much more control you have while diving.
