Description
The current home for East Coast Divers’ confined water training is the Atkinson Pool in Sudbury. East Coast Divers has been working with Atkinson since our Brookline pool facility restricted access due to COVID-19. The size and depth of the lap pool and dive well are almost identical to those at the Brookline facility: The dive well is 12ft deep and the lap pool is 25 yards with a 3ft shallow end and 6ft deep end. The lap pool provides a setting where we can work on skill development. The shallow water makes it easy to brief students and supports discussions around any issues. The dive well offers the depth needed to practice descents and ascents and master buoyancy in a safe environment.
Parking
There is a large parking lot directly outside the pool facility with overflow parking across Fairbank Circle if needed.
