If you’re looking for more than just a diving trip, this  8 day adventure is for you!  Costa Rica’s underwater volcanic pinnacles are teeming with marine life including pelagic mantas and sharks, frogfish, sea horses, turtles, snapper and tuna. Schooling fish are found at every dive site. After four days of diving, we’ll then explore the beauty of Costa Rica above water with a 3 day visit to the stunning Arenal volcano  area jungles for soaking in  hot springs, hiking to epic waterfalls and close encoutners with some amazing animals!

 

About the Diving

 

Daily Itinerary:
Day 1:  Touch down at the Liberia International Airport (LIR). You will be met by one of our representatives as you exit the airport and then make your way to the Pacific Coast to the Villa Sol Hotel.  Check into your hotel, grab a tropical drink and enjoy the sunset before your next morning dive adventure.

Day 2 - 5  Guanacaste – Enjoy 2-Tank (Local) Dives where you will have a great variety and abundance of marine life. Return to the hotel for afternoon by the pool or ask us to arrange an adventure tour.

Day 5 Your private guide will meet you at the hotel  to head to the beautiful Arenal Volcano around the scenic Lake Arenal. You will make a stop for the sloth, frog and waterfall tour and lunch, then head to the Arenal Manoa hotel  for the afternoon and dinner.

Day 6 Head out in the morning with a private guide for a coffee and chocolate and tortilla making tour with Dona Mara including lunch. Relax at the hotel for the afternoon before an evening hot springs entrance with dinner included.

Day 7 A free day to explore the hotel grounds and take the farm tour, book a tour on your own, or just relax around the pools.  We'll regroup for dinner in La Fortuna.

Day 8 Check out of the hotel and head to the San Jose airport to go home, reminiscing about what an amazing trip you just had!

▪ GROUP transfers: From Liberia Airport (LIR) to Villa Sol/ from Villa Sol to Arenal/ from Arenal to  San Jose airport (SJO).  Flights into Liberia on August 13th should arrive by 3pm and return flights from San Jose should depart after 12pm to use group tranfers. Travelers who arrive outside of the group transfer times will be responsible for their own airport tranfers.
