Halcyon Backplate & Wing System
If you’ve been thinking about getting into a new buoyancy compensator this season, look no further than Halcyon. With infinite adjustability, multiple customization options, and bulletproof build quality, these systems are right for just about any diver. Halcyon’s signature wing design has a long, narrow profile and time-tested construction.
Adjustability: Both Infinity and Traveler Pro systems come with Halcyon’s Cinch Quick-adjust harness. This consists of a beveled glide that allows you to easily adjust the tension on your shoulder straps from the belt. This makes getting in and out of your gear a cinch (pun intended)! Adjusting the fit and re-sizing is easy with all halcyon backplate and wing systems as they utilize single-piece webbing and tri-glides for fixed attachments. The backplates for the infinity system come in steel or aluminum in both standard and small sizes. The Infinity system has a single tank adapter (STA) that keeps your tank in position. The wing and STA can be quickly removed and paired with a Halcyon doubles wing when you’re ready for more technical dives.
Customization: The Infinity BC System is the diving fashionista’s dream platform. The Eclipse 20, 30, or 40-lb wings can be ordered with a combination of 23 custom fabric colors, reflective gussets, and embroidery for nominal markups. Build Quality: Halcyon products are built out of rugged materials that are designed to last a lifetime. Unlike typical BCDs that have plastic fittings and bladers that are welded into the device, these backplate and wing systems use stainless steel, hard-anodized aluminum, ballistic nylon, and ergonomic webbing. The air-bladders in the wings are replaceable as is all of the other hardware so if a part fails you’re able to swap it out and keep on diving.

Halcyon Traveler Pro
Looking to skip the metal backplate? The Halcyon Traveler Pro offers globetrotting divers all of the killer features of the infinity system without the integrated weight. The system supports four trim pockets (for up to 12lbs of ballast) that sit between a delrin plate and the customizable 20lb wing so you can trim out like a pro in tropical waters! You can upgrade the unit with ACB weight pockets and/or a customizable 30 or 40 pound wing.
