Guided Shore Dives – Explore New England with Us

New England diving offers incredible marine life and unique sites, but cold water conditions can be a challenge — especially if you’re used to warmer waters. That’s where our guided shore dives come in.

Whether you’re new to cold water, haven’t been diving locally in a while, or just want someone to show you the best parts of the site, diving with a local pro can make a big difference. Guided dives are also a great way to prep before enrolling in a class if you’ve never dove in cold water before.

Private Guided Dives with an ECD Divemaster

$200 per group

Looking for a personalised experience? Does your schedule not allow you to dive on weekend? Our private guided dives are perfect for divers who want to explore New England’s shore diving with the support of a professional — whether you’re refreshing your cold water skills, visiting from out of town, or just prefer smaller, private groups.

  • Includes up to 2 dives in one day

  • For up to 4 divers

  • Led by a certified ECD Divemaster

Requirements:
All participating divers must have been diving within the past 2 years and have prior cold water experience.

Please note: Divers are responsible for bringing or renting their own equipment. Rental gear must be picked up in advance; guides cannot transport equipment to the site.

Private Guided Dives & Skill Review with an ECD Instructor

$350 per group

Need a refresher or looking to build confidence in cold water? Our instructor-led guided dives combine skill review with a guided tour of a local site — perfect for divers who:

  • Haven’t been diving in the last 2 years

  • Are new to cold water diving

  • Want help with specific skills like buoyancy, weighting, or drysuit use

  • Prefer real-world practice over a pool session

Before your dive day, you’ll connect with your instructor to talk through your experience and goals. On the day of the dive, your instructor will help with weighting, cold water dive tips, and walk you through any skills you’d like to review.

What’s included:

  • One confined water session (in shallow, calm water)

  • Up to 2 guided dives at a local site

  • For up to 3 divers

Note: Divers are responsible for their own gear. Rental equipment must be picked up from the shop ahead of time — instructors cannot transport gear to the site.
